Families Fighting For Justice

(June 16, 2012)

Liverpool Walton MP Steve Rotheram has paid tribute to two charities who are helping grieving families cope with the loss of their loved ones.

Families Fighting For Justice is a peer support group supporting families who have lost a loved in Liverpool. Working alongside their sister-group, OLLY (our lost love years) these charities work on a voluntary basis to supporting many families on Merseyside.

The charities are holding a Fun Day on Saturday 16th June with a BBQ, Stalls, Raffle Prizes, Bouncy Castle, Stocks, and a Lucky Dip. Entrance is free.

Steve explained, "Charities are having a particularly difficult time at the moment as the uncertainty over the Chancellor's budget continues to act as an obstacle to charitable giving in the way that some people had become accustomed to in the last two decades.

"FFFJ and OLLY are fantastic charities in Liverpool and they provide real help for real people. I urge as many people in Walton as possible, to come out and enjoy the fun day on Saturday."

Crissy Rock , Liverpool comedienne and star of TV' Benidorm, will be attending on the day, Crissy has now became one of the patrons for FFJ.
